I have lived in Scottsdale, AZ for the past 9 years with my husband Jamieand sons: Max, Aaron, and Alex, ages 17,
17 and 8.
Jamie and I met in Texas and were surprised to discover we were both raised in Shreveport. He attended
First Baptist School.
After graduating from Northwestern, I began my nursing career with the Veterans Administration
in Shreveport. In 1980, I moved to Leonard, Texas
(after the death of my brother, Dirk) to be closer to family.
I was married to Tom Gillespie for 15 years.
I remained with the Veterans Administration for 17 years
until moving to the Big Island, Hawaii. (My brother, David has lived there since graduating from
Tulane Law School 20+
years ago). He and his wife Maiko just had a beautiful baby boy!!
I work from home as a Legal
Nurse Consultant. My passion (while in Hawaii) was outrigger canoeing and I am now an avid canoeist with my Desert Paddlers
group
in Arizona. I love anything water-related. I also love to camp, hike with my beautiful white samoyed (Nikita),
and travel.
I am so thankful for my family and friends. God is so good and I have been richly blessed!
