Brenda Stephens Hedgecock

Boy,the years have flown by. I can't believe it has been 35 years since graduation. I don't know about you guys, but I still feel pretty young at heart. I must say that I have been very blessed through the years. Yes, there have been some hard times and sad times, but for the most part very good times. I loved my days in High School. I still love to listen to the music of our day and reflect back. I guess I feel especially close to the friends from Caddo Heights Elementary and Linwood Junior High that went on to Woodlawn. I went to Northwestern in Natchitoches and met my husband, Rodney. We married too young in 1975, but we are still together and have two sons. Stephen is 26 and Erick is 23. Boy raising kids was challenge. But we made it through it. They have turned out to be pretty good young men, if I must say so myself. I have always worked for the Federal goverment. Right now, I am a Claims Rep for the Social Security Administration. Yes it is pretty stressful and I am looking forward to retirement. I am hoping to move back closer to home upon retirement. We live in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, which is next to Biloxo, Ms. My husband works for the Goverment also. He works at Keesler AFB in Biloxi. We did get flooded during Katrina and that is why I want to move further north upon retirement. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and hope that those that did not make it before will be there.
